Take the underground to Odeonsplatz; it’s about a 7-minute walk from there
- From Marienplatz: Take the U3 line towards Moosach or the U6 line towards Garching-Forschungszentrum

Parking in the immediate vicinity is limited. The nearest public car park is at Salvatorplatz 1 (Parkhaus Bavaria GmbH), approx. 8 minutes’ walk from there.
Getting here by taxi
If necessary, ask the driver to take you to the Oskar von Miller Forum or the junction of Amalienstraße and Oskar-von-Miller-Ring.
Access
The accessible entrance is on the west side of the building, opposite St Mark’s Church, and is particularly suitable for deliveries.

Our offices are located on the ground floor of WERK1 at Friedenstraße 6, 81671 Munich. Please let us know in advance if you require assistance with accessible access.
Travelling by car
Friedenstraße is located in the east of Munich, near Ostbahnhof station, in the Haidhausen district. There are various parking options available in the area, most of which are paid (e.g. car parks and public parking spaces in the neighbourhood).
We recommend travelling by public transport where possible, as parking can be very limited depending on the time of day.

From there, it is just a few minutes’ walk along Friedenstraße to the STARTUP HUB.

Travelling by public transport
From the main station: take the U4/U5 to Odeonsplatz, then the U6 towards Garching Research Centre.
From the airport: take the S8 S-Bahn (towards the main station) to the third stop, Ismaning (journey time approx. 13 minutes). From there, take regional bus 230 towards Garching Research Centre, alighting at Boltzmannstraße.
By car:
Whether approaching from the south (e.g. from Munich) or the north (e.g. from the airport), take the A9 motorway to the Garching Nord exit (exit 70). After the exit (either turn right or left) towards the research institutes, cross the junction with the B11 and turn into Ludwig-Prandtl-Straße. There are parking spaces available on the left-hand side here. The LRZ Rechnerkubus can be seen from a distance.
