The Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BAdW) is committed to ensuring that its websites are accessible in accordance with the Bavarian Ordinance on Electronic Administration and Accessible Information Technology (Bavarian E-Government Ordinance – BayEGovV) of 8 November 2016.

This accessibility statement applies to the BAdW website (badw.de) and the websites of its research projects. 

Status of compliance with requirements

These websites are, in principle, fully compliant with the BayEGovV.
We have endeavoured to ensure completeness and clarity when providing alternative text for images and animations and link text for links. We are working to provide alternative text versions for our other multimedia content in the future. All content is continuously being improved with regard to accessibility.

This statement was drawn up on 20 September 2020 on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by us (Durchführungsbeschlusses (EU) 2018/1523 der Kommission).
