Testimony in the Digital Age

Personal memories make history come alive: The Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ) invites you to meet a fascinating witness of the 20th on May 9, 2023, starting at 3 pm. On May 9, Dr. Agnes Kaposi will be a guest at the LRZ. Born in Hungary in 1932, the engineer survived the Holocaust and is a Fellow of the UK's prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering. She recently wrote her memoirs and also answered questions about her extraordinary life for a digital testimony. We will discuss the ethical aspects of digital testimonies, tracing the interactions between humans and machines, but also the limits of technology.
